Guillermo J. Cohen Freue initially joined Liberate Medical as a consultant and has served as Vice President of Engineering since 2016. Prior to joining Liberate Medical he served as Director of Research and Development of Angelini Pharma Inc. Guillermo, a co-founder of several medical device companies, has designed and developed a wide range of devices and led the groups that obtained market clearance through the FDA approval process of the mentioned systems. Throughout his 20+ years of tenure, Guillermo has also developed technical training programs and medical devices software products. Guillermo received his M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Universidad de Buenos Aires, Argentina.
